Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy establishes standards and guidelines for user conduct on the MicroM&A Platform. All users are required to comply with this policy. Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account restrictions, or termination. This policy applies to all content, communications, and activities on the Platform.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Users shall not:
- Submit Fraudulent or Misleading Content: Create false listings, misrepresent business details, post listings you do not own or are not authorized to sell, or provide intentionally inaccurate financial information.
- Impersonate Others: Assume false identity, impersonate other users, administrators, or representatives, or falsely claim affiliation with MicroM&A or third parties.
- Submit Forged or Fraudulent Documents: Upload fabricated, falsified, altered, or stolen verification documents, financial statements, licenses, or identification materials.
- Engage in Illegal Activity: Use the Platform for any illegal purpose, including money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, sanctions circumvention, or other criminal conduct.
- Scrape or Automate Unauthorized Access: Extract or collect data through automated means, bot activity, or any method not expressly permitted by MicroM&A.
- Spam or Bulk Communications: Send unsolicited messages, advertisements, promotional content, or communications in bulk or to multiple users.
- Harass, Threaten, or Abuse: Engage in harassment, threats, intimidation, discriminatory conduct, hate speech, or any communication intended to harm, degrade, or intimidate others.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Submit content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Compromise Platform Security: Attempt to gain unauthorized access, exploit vulnerabilities, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise compromise Platform security or functionality.
- Solicit Illegal Services: Solicit or facilitate illegal transactions, services, or goods.
- Violate User Privacy: Collect, disclose, or solicit personal information of other users without consent or for unauthorized purposes.
3. Document Authenticity and Accuracy
All verification documents, financial statements, business records, and supporting materials submitted through the Platform must be authentic, complete, and accurate. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit such documents and that they have been lawfully obtained. Falsification of documents is prohibited and may constitute fraud. MicroM&A reserves the right to verify document authenticity through third-party resources and to request additional substantiation. False document submissions may result in immediate account suspension, permanent termination, and referral to law enforcement.
4. User-to-User Communications
Users must communicate respectfully and professionally. Threats, abuse, harassment, bullying, intimidation, discriminatory language, hate speech, obscenity, and unlawful solicitations are strictly prohibited. All communications must comply with applicable laws. Users should not share sensitive personal or financial information through Platform messaging beyond what is necessary for business transactions.
5. Marketplace Integrity
Users shall not attempt to circumvent Platform controls, create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, artificially manipulate listings or ratings, collude with other users to defraud the Platform or third parties, or engage in any conduct that undermines the integrity or trustworthiness of the marketplace.
6. Restrictions on Payments and Financial Transactions
Users shall not use the Platform to facilitate payment processing, money transfers, or financial transactions unless expressly authorized. Users assume full responsibility for payment arrangements, fund transfers, and settlement with counterparties. MicroM&A is not liable for payment disputes, failed transactions, or fraud related to user-initiated financial arrangements.
7. Compliance with Laws
Users shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes laws regarding business licensing, taxes, anti-bribery, sanctions, export controls, and other legal requirements. Users conducting international transactions assume responsibility for compliance with applicable trade laws.
8. Monitoring and Enforcement
MicroM&A reserves the right to monitor user activity, communications, and content for compliance with this policy and applicable law. MicroM&A may take enforcement action without prior notice, including removing content, suspending listings, restricting account functionality, terminating access, and reporting violations to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
9. Remedies and Account Suspension
Upon policy violation, MicroM&A may impose graduated or immediate enforcement measures including: (a) warnings or notices; (b) removal of non-compliant content; (c) temporary suspension of account privileges; (d) permanent account termination; (e) forfeiture of pending transactions; and (f) referral to law enforcement. MicroM&A’s enforcement discretion is final. Suspended or terminated users may appeal through official support channels.
10. Reporting Violations
Users who observe policy violations, fraudulent activity, or suspicious conduct are encouraged to report such activity to MicroM&A through official support channels. Reports should include relevant details, usernames, and evidence. MicroM&A will investigate reports and take appropriate action. Reporters should not engage directly with violators or attempt private resolution.
